What a game. That game shows what a TEAM is all about.Players like Cairo coming through for them and Flaherty batting 153 gets the winning RBI.

Exactly, say what you want about the Yankees just being a bunch of superstars, but they have been coming back all year, and it seems like every night it's someone else getting the big hit. This is something we haven't really seen in the last few years.

That's what IMO differentiates the Yankee teams of the last few years from the ones in their championship run. It seems like before, they would sign people like Giambi that put up great stats, but have proved to not be very clutch and haven't come up very big when they needed it. Before, they had players like Paul O' Neill, Scott Brosius and Tino Martinez who didn't put up Giambi like numbers, but always came through when they needed it. It seems like maybe this year, they are starting to get that "clutchness" back, and have been coming up with big hits and big outs when needed. This is definitely scary for every other team. Of course, you know, being a Sox fan, I hope they eventually fall off, but it doesn't seem like it's gonna happen.

Yankees have had their share of great wins and games thus far this season, and last night was the best. A good outing by Halsey, a great play by Jeter and Arod, and Manny was Manny. The only thing I regret was the umpire warning the benches right after Pedro beaned Sheff, so we really didn't get the opportunity to retaliate and bean either Ortiz or Manny. It's a sweep! Now we on to the Mets, and I can't wait to see Jose pitch again.
