Why don't you just get rid of the worst manager of all time

So it's Bowa's fault that his starting pitchers get rocked on a nightly basis and that his hitters are going for homers when he is telling them to get on base?

He's just not a good manager. When an owner spends lots of money and the team doesn't produce, the manager gets canned. Last year, Phillies should have won the division but choked to the Marlins in the end. They added Wagner and Milton, and they're struggling again this year. They need a change.

Bowa's first year here in 2001, Phils damn near won the division and that was without the spending. 2002, they went backwards but still contended even with the problems in the clubhouse and trading away Rolen. Last year with Thome, they almost had the division again despite no leadoff hitter and clutch hitters that get on base and send runners on base home. And this year, it's the same problem.
Owners spent money and got great cogs to this team. But when you don't sure of the REAL problems on this team, it's for naught. The Yanks spend mucho money and they still have problems. So what do they do?...they solve the problems by trading to correct the problems before the deadline. GM Ed Wade didn't do it last year and he is not going to do it this year either. I could bet money on that.
That's not Bowa's fault.
