    Re: Josh Phelps WOW

Jays have some talented position players who are near ready. Rios has already been up, and doing a decent job. Aaron Hill and Russ Adams are legit MLB starters at 2B/SS. Guillermo Quiroz is one of the better catching prospects in baseball. They just need some time to grow. Trading Delgado for a couple of arms would actually help them in the long run. If they could get Merkin Valdez and another arm, you gotta do that trade.

The problem with Delgado is that he has a no trade clause and can veto anything he wants. I would love to see Delgado go to the Dodgers for Edwin Jackson and a power hitting prospect but I know that will never happen.

The only reason that will never happen is because the Dodgers do not have any power hitting prospects, Delgado could still end up with the Dodgers, the Dodgers may have to get a third team involved in order to get a decent hitting prospect, but the Dodgers have enough pitching prospects to make this deal. The question is going to be what does Toronto really want in this deal?.
