      Hate to say it, but so do I.

      There's a tiny, tiny part of me that would like to see him come back to Atlanta to close out his career. But it's overwhelmed by a much greater part of me that realizes he probably doesn't have much, if anything left.

      Thanks for the memories, Fred. Hopefully you catch on with someone and get that 500th homer.

            I think he is still going to be a Hall of Famer, but that is a whole other discussion.

            As for him being released, maybe it was so a team that would give him playing can pick him up, instead of the D-Rays.
