anyone else just see Edmonds crush a homer off Zambrano in his second at bat after getting hit his first time up.????
after Edmonds hit it.. Barrett tried to start a fight with the cards dugout and while Zambrano was talking chit to Edmonds on his way to first... (both benches cleared but nothing happened as usual except young zambrano losing his temper and emotions in a big game) and yeah.. jimmy didn't say a word after he got hit his first time up and didn't say a word and put his head down like usual after he crushed a HR off him.
maybe he said something as he crossed home plate? anyone know? the TV I'm watching didn't show anything like that..
BTW, where is BOMBER? I remember he laughed at me at the beginning of the Season when mvp was coming out when I said the Cardinals would easily be in the race with the cubs to the end of the year for the division. telling him that our pitching was good and that we had one of the best bullpens in baseball.. you'll be suprised.
TO Astros fans who said they were the team to compete with the Cubs for the central --- THE cards didn't have a chance.. yeah.. too bad.
Cubs need to win at least one of these games.. they are far from done but the astros I think are..
I luv the Cubs Cards rivalry! I would luv to see us meet in the playoffs.. however, I be scared of that too!
ps. it just sux that after tomorrow night.. no more game with the cubs! that is just plain stupid.. this is one of the best rivalries in baseball.. how could the MLB screw it up this bad?
