I don't think anything will happen as far as hit batters. Contreras has been pitching great lately, and I don't think the Yankees want to take a chance at screwing that up.

Yeh.. i just dont think yankees can let that slide .. i think they should of hit a batter at yesturdays game but they didnt for some reason.. maybe in the later innings in todays game they will

I'll be surprised if something happens. It'll be an intense ball game, hard played from both sides, but I don't imagine tempers flaring that much.

If it was Manny who got hit, he would've tried to charge the mound.

Man, what happened to Derek Lowe? Crashed and burned.. I wouldn't have minded the Mets
going after him as a free agent.. but now.. ugh, he's gonna get overpaid, even if the Sox
keep him.

I love the Red Sox, but D-Lowe has lost a bit of touch this year. I think it's mainly the pressure on him to perform like Pedro and Kurt.

Both Lowe and Arroyo are giving up 6 runs in the first 3 inninges of games. There's nothing the D can do about that most times.
Look at Clemens at the all-star game. It wasn't poor D there.

I've got MLB extra innings and I've watched just about every single red sox game they've boradcast. Lowe just isn't Lowe this year. I like the guy and hope they trade him so he can get back to form with less pressure to beat the Evil Empire.
