Well they were pretty damn dominant man. You should know if you are a Yankees fan, they played them plenty of times in the playoffs.
How were the Indians not one of the most dominant teams of the 90's?

Yea, knocked the Yankees out in 97, and were the only team to win a playoff game against them in 98.
I hope they get good again, those games always had a great atmoshere.Originally posted by Jay BilasThe question isn't whether UConn belongs with the elites, but over the last 20 years, whether the rest of the college basketball elite belongs with UConnComment

Re: How were the Indians not one of the most dominant teams of the 90's?
Those were some of the best hitting teams ever. I loved watching the '95 team. They were never out of any of their games. They had so many come from behind wins. Indians fans could whine like Red Sox fans do about Buckner, but we know the Marlins beat us. Mesa blew a save with 2 outs to go that would have won the WS and Tony Fernandez did his best Buckner impersonation before the winning hit.
I really like the direction the Indians are going right now. They remind me a lot of the '94 team. I don't know if they can make the playoffs this year, but they will definately be a team to be reckoned with in the next couple of years. Their bullpen has been terrible all season but they are hitting like crazy again.
Sandy Alomar's HR off Rivera in '97 was one of the best moments ever for an Indians fan.Comment
