yeah just heard about it, man its kinda sad. I mean he had such a great career but because of injurys he may not even make the hall of fame.

Dang this is awful. Up until the first injury this year, he was playing great, and playing with so much flare and having so much fun. Griffey will always be one of the greats in my book. Here's to hoping he will come back next year injury free!

Looks like he's going to have season ending surgery. Tough luck for Griffey he was having a good year. I hope he fully recovers and can play in Spring Training

I damn sure did....and I think it's time he thought very carefully about what he wants to do with his life....or at least think about doing it at a very very very low cost...

Amazing that this can happen again. If I was him i'd leave Cincy. Everything bad happened once he got there.

He needs to either switch positions or become a DH. It's clear he's going to have chronic hamstring problems for the rest of his career and if he isn't willing to do something different this is going to happen next year, and the year after...

It wouldn't surprise me to see Griffey start considering retirement. He's been plagued by injuries recently and made it to 500 home runs. He's not going to challenge Hank's record, but the only thing that he probably wants is a ring. Either way, he's probably going to have to get out of Cincy to prolong his career a few more seasons and perhaps find a club with a better chance of winning.
