    Jose Hernandez Appreciation Thread

I'd just like to say that I support Brewers' Shortstop Jose Hernandez on his march to immortatily. Hopefully, he'll break the record tonight.

I would like to note that the day he hit 2 or 3 homeruns in a game, and that week he had maybe 5. I was playing the guy w/ him on his fantasy team

          .284 avg., 24 HR, 71 RBI

All in all, Hernandez a decent player. He just strikes out every 1 out of 3 times that he goes to the plate.

Hernandez is a pretty decent player, the strikeout thing is going to get him some attention that he might not want.

He was very versataile when he was on the Cubs played just about every postition and well and had some pop.

I give him credit for even going out and playing. This time of year he could easily just pack it in and save himself the embarassment.

he did sit out several games. Coach gave him a break because the fans were booing when he didn't K.

I'm reading Jose K may not play anymore this year. To quote the Brewers manager, "Jose will not be laughed at." I think it's a little too late for that.

Absolute bullsh*t move by the Brewers to not play Hernandez. They are in business of winning games... sure, they can't even do that, but they have a responsibility to put the best team on the field that they can. Their new shortstop already has cost them with a key error, yet Hernandez still sits on the bench. If I were one of the 4 Milwaukee fans in the world, I would demand my money back.

Doesn't want to hurt poor, sensitive Jose's feelings by letting the crowd boo and laugh at him for breaking the strike out record... B-O-O-H-O-O! Newsflash... there was a recent invention in the baseball world... it's called BATTING PRACTICE! Take some next season Jose.

Guru, even if Jose wasnt chasing immortality, I still think he'd be riding the pine because the guy thats taking his place is a kid (Hall?) they wanted to take a look at. But Jose is a utility player, so I agree, they should have him somewhere.
