We may hate the guy but under his tenure he's gotten the game to be much stronger then it has been in a long time. Yes he took away a world series but the game hasn't been more healthier than it is now.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

What a crock. Good things have happened to baseball in the last 10 years, but they have happened IN SPITE of Selig, not because of him.
He's always been a tool for the owners. The cancellation of the '94 world series (something baseball fans should never ever forgive him for), the fiasco involving selling the Montreal Expos to MLB, the moronic decision to expand to Florida and Tampa Bay, the way he attempted contraction, and the whole stringing along he's done to D.C. and Virginia for more than a decade.
