Totally ready for the grind that will be the AL Central.

And please pray for Minnesota. They are going to be...just wrecked this year.

All I ask for now is to not allow Cole Hamels to embarrass you today, Red Sox. Last thing I want to hear for the next week is more Cole Hamels trade talk. Do your job today, and do nothing to feed that incredibly tired discussion.

I also really liked his call for the Final Four this weekend. Anyway, big Shulman fan here, especially for baseball.
Agreed 100% I always try to catch his weekly segment on TSN Drive though sometimes it's hard to as i'm more of a Bobcat fan but more often than not I will hear Shulman. Also agreed on the Final Four, I watched some of it and he actually makes Dick Vitale somewhat bearable!

Anywho, really looking forward to seeing how things play out in the super competitive AL East. It's definitely not the powerhouse division it once was but man oh man is it ever going to be a dog fight with every team except Tampa with a legit shot of winning it unless the BoSox get themselves a legit #1 starter.

Tigers providing the first two longballs of 2015. Hughes getting knocked around early.

Also, neither of these first two broadcasts look like a video game.

Another opening day and another injury for Jose Reyes.

EDIT: Aaand Edwing has arrived. Destroyed a ball.

Man, Tanaka looks in tough with the drop in velocity. If teams can successfully adjust to the breaking stuff, he will be very average.

Good too see so many positive opening day attitudes about their team already.

It's ESPN. They have spent a good several minutes talking about Tanaka not throwing fastballs. And that's been followed by, "I wonder how many he has thrown in this game."

Why is there still no Stat on this? Doesn't ESPN work with the biggest Stat provider in the game? And yet no one knows how many fastballs he's thrown in the game?

                              Breaking ball-breaking ball-breaking ball-breaking ball-breaking ball-breaking ball-breaking ball-breaking ball-breaking ball. Yep, that ain't working.

He pitched great last season. Now he has "tweaked" his delivery. Why? Because he is hedging, he doesn't wanna get hurt.

I wanna be optimistic but if this continues then he is in for a long season. Might as well tell him to go all out and get the TJ out of the way.
