94.50 ERA for Latos, that's not good.

Steve Pearce owns the Rays. My God. His last 25 games against the Rays he is hitting about .325 with 8 home runs and 14 RBI. Wow. Just gave the Orioles a 6-0 lead in the 2nd.

Jake Diekman has a 108.00 ERA to start the season. Haha.

Wow. Back to back games bases loaded, no outs, and we get out of it both times without damage. Too big of a scare after a 7 run first.

I don't believe this. Another bases loaded no out crisis averted.

If we play likable baseball like this, I won't care where we end up this season nearly as much.

Can't watch the game, but singles and doubles score 7 runs, much better than waiting for that 2-3 run Homer and striking out the rest of the time.

I don't know how many wins it will translate to, but despite the loss of some names I've always thought this team would be more fun to watch than what we had. Nothing is more frustrating to me than watching strikeout after strikeout and knowing that even if you get a guy to 3rd he isn't scoring unless someone hits a homerun.

I get home from the gym and see we've got seven runs after three innings. Uh, what world have I entered? And how do I stay here?

I'm pretty sure we'll be just as tired of ground outs and weak pop ups by the end of the season.

That being said, I'll take 7 runs from this crappy line-up any day.

If we had anyone who could get on base last year we would have saw plenty of double plays to go along with the strikeouts. We had a couple guys who were very good at rolling over the ball for a weak grounder to the right side or one of a weak pop up after trying to launch the ball.

This lineup is not going to be a juggernaught, but they have to be better than last year almost by default. And at the end of the day, I'd rather see a ball in play than swings and misses.
