Lots of homers tonight. Trout with career #100, A-Rod with 2, Martin with 2, Freeman with a second decker.

Kluber just lost his perfect game bid in the 6th, too.

If i was SS or 2B for Oakland i wouldnt cover 2B on a slide for the rest of the series.

Mild Sprain of left knee for Escobar. Really lucky if that is all. Obvioulsy they havent done any MRI so idk if it could end up being worse.

A's broadcast just said it was a mild knee sprain and a contusion. He got spiked pretty hard as well.

I was just typing that I could see this game going 12, but maybe not anymore.

Edit: Lawrie up 2nd in the 9th. I'd be real surprised if they did anything here though.

I say at least 150 K's for Bryant this year...I miss the Tony Gwynn's swinging a 30 ounce a bat and not trying to knock the tar off the bat.

Biggest oxymoron in baseball is Mariners offense. Especially against mediocre pitchers apparently.
