The Giatts claimed Jeromy Burnitz and Shawn Estes off waivers...according to MLB sources the Giants are likely to get Jeromy Burnitz.

Great, just when I thought we were almost out of a hole, the only thing that we need is more strikeouts!

I mean, he's just the Sammy Sosa type. No matter what the count, no patter where the location of the pitch, no matter what the situation, he'll just swing as hard as he can, flailing everything out that's attached to him.

If it's a home run, great.

If it's not a home run, it's a strikeout.

He's hitting .290 with 32 home runs and 90 rbi and can play all 3 outfield positions.
