Um no, Felix had an ERA a half run lower than Kluber a better WHIP. And he had a clunker last week of the season where he gave up 8 runs or his ERA would have been below 2. And Felix is the front runner for the Cy Young. Dallas had a rediculously low BABIP against in April. Fine start but he will come back to the pack.

Please provide something, one little bitty link to anything other than your word of mouth, that says he is the front runner.

If this is the reasoning you're going with...Keuchel's ERA is almost a full run better than Felix's, with a lower WHIP as well. Chris Archer and Sonny Gray are also pitching just as well as Felix.

He's Felix Hermandez. I don't need any more than that. And even though I'm part of the kill the win crowd, he is 5-0 already and I know wins do factor in voting. He also has a sub 2 ERA. I don't want to come off as blasting Dallas Keuchle (sp?) because he is a good pitcher, but his ERA will not be sub 2.5 let alone lower than Felix's at the end of the season.

Well I'm convinced. Felix Hermandez for CY.

In any case, debating whether anyone is a front runner for anything after one month of the season is a waste of energy.

              Sound reasoning. I guess 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2011, 2012, 2013, and 2014 were all flukes.

Keuchel had a 2.93 ERA last year and has a better defense behind him this year. There is certainly no way that buy that it is a given that he does not have a sub-2.50 in him this season.

He may not do it, but it is not a given.

6-0 lead? I'll take it...loving how good Shelby is pitching.

Kelvin Herrera gave up a HR for the first time since July 2013. He had the most IP without giving up a HR (105.1) in the AL. Now Wade Davis has it at 92 IP.

In a strange coincidence, on the night the Red Sox honored their '75 team, Mookie Betts became the youngest Sox player to have a multi-HR game since Jim Rice in 1975.

Also for the first time in 75 years, the Sox won 2-0 thanks to 2 solo shots by the same player.
