Cubs get 4 hits (not one of them struck all that well) and 2 runs in the first. Even had a runner picked off 1st and still did all that.

Let's see if the Cards bats set this up for another crazy back and forth game.

Seriously, the results haven't been there in the final score but if the Cubs play like they have in the last two days + tonight vs STL, they're going to win a lot of games.

Lynn at 89 pitches through 5. It's mostly the same story as the last two games. We're going to get to the pen again, and this time the Cubs pen needs to hold up.

Maddon's tossed. Totally saw this coming with the strike zone, and Matheny might be right behind him soon enough.

If it's what I saw before I had to run out it was far more than just a "bump" Votto went batcrap insane for a second there.


Anywho, I never thought i'd say this but Chris Collabello and Ezequiel Carrera helped the Jays in a winning effort tonight. Surely this is some kind of freakish dream right?

With the general continued failure of the A's pen so far this year I'd put money on Venditte and his switch pitching AAA 1.10 ERA getting a call up soon.
