Mariners are 6-0 with Felix on the mound, 8-17 without him, moral of the story, let's clone Felix!!! In all honesty though, if we are in contention at the end of the year, he may be a frontrunner for the MVP as well as Cy Young.

And you're telling me that the Astros staff is "average at best" aside from McHugh? Of course, you forgot Keuchel when you said that but I could claim that the rest of Seattle's staff is flaming garbage (8-17!).

Most of that is the result of the pen. Once Walker and Paxton get on track and and we get Kuma back our rotation should be good to go. Walker and Paxton has pitched well lately. So its just a matter of time. We are only .5 game behind the Angels so we have survived the early season struggles.

Also, not to rain on your parade, but Dallas Kuechel has a BABIP against of .199 this season, which means what he's doing is not sustainable. Still a solid pitcher, but hes not sub 2 ERA good.

Dunno if this is the case still, as Keuchel gave up a few runs in his last outing, but going into his last outing he had the lowest ERA in the Majors (yes, including Lord Felix) since mid-July last year.

            I'd call that sustainable.

Edit: To be clear, I'm not making claims that Keuchel is better than anyone. My point is that your comment that Houston's rotation is average at best, aside from McHugh, is way off base.

Aside from McHugh and Keuchel, fine. Not many staffs have 3-deep brilliance.

Too bad Syndergaard couldn't get any run support tonight. Everything fell apart in the 6th.

McHugh and the Astros are getting pounded by the Giants tonight. There is some good news though.

Gregerson and Springer should both be in Houston tomorrow. Oberholtzer is ready to go and Peacock has begun throwing again.

Giancarlo Stanton with the furthest-hit home run I have ever seen in Dodger Stadium.

                    Went out of the park.

McGwire hit 2 out. Willie Stargell and Mike Piazza have also hit it out of Dodger Stadium. Piazza did it in the mid 90's. Piazza hit it the furthest. Made it to the parking lot.
