I'm really looking forward to seeing them during the weekend series against the Jays. I've always held a high regard for the Twins organization and their fans.

Maddon batting Fowler in the cleanup spot and Coghlan leading off. That's....different.

There isn't really anything terribly outlandish about what he said. You guys gotta lay off him a bit.

Nellie Cruz is raking but no way he can sustain a .381 BABIP.

Nonetheless, the amount of HRs he's able to hit in Safeco is tremendous; first thought I have him though is still his suspension regarding PEDs.

Considering Felix has a sub 2 ERA and leads the league in wins, and Cruz is hitting .341 and leads the league in HR and RBI, all while Cano has been slumping, if we are in the race till September Cruz will get major MVP consideration, and Felix is always a top 3 candidate and he's finally compiling the wins this year, even though I don't believe in the win.

A little home cooking for Greinke on that outside "corner" he may have been painting the corner of the batters box, but definitely not the plate.

I guess as a positive he threw over 30 pitches in the 1st.

Janssen doesn't smother that bunt for a hit attempt and it would have been a very different ball game. That play was pivotal.

Guerrero goes yard again, but too little too late.

In fairness, I did back off from my Harper > Trout position once it became clear that Trout could be an awesome player even after the defense and baserunning took a step back. Still, I think you can make an honest case that Harper will be the better player than Trout for the rest of their respective careers while not ever closing the career WAR gap between them.

Harper's not going to keep putting up numbers from Babe Ruth's prime, but it wouldn't surprise me to see him hit 60 HRs one day. The guy is that good. Nats fans better enjoy him before he signs the inevitable $600 million contract with the Yankees, Red Sox, or Dodgers.

In the couple innings I saw of Eduardo Rodriguez tonight, I love Duquette for giving him to us for a half season of Andrew Miller. This kid looks good so far, but I need/want to see more of him.
