Miami decided not to even try and hold runners on.
I hope Redmond gets another shot.Originally posted by Gibson88Anyone who asked for an ETA is not being Master of their Domain.

Re: 5/18 - 5/31 Game Discussion Thread
That wasnt even Harpers fault. Williams was yelling from the dugout and the ump started to argue with him. Harper stepped out of the box while that was going on and then the ump was all pissy and threw him out for not being in the box.

Well, when you've been told you're God's gift to baseball for the last decade, humility ain't gonna be easy to come by.
(You even heard it in the video.... "all these fans came here to see Bryce Harper play".... oiy.)Last edited by daflyboys; 05-20-2015, 10:29 PM.Comment

A very quick leash from Maddon. Wada out after 68 pitches and didn't finish the 5th inning.Comment

I know why we had to trade Justin Upton, but man he's fun to watch hit. Really glad to see him playing well in San Diego."People ask me what I do in winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring." - Rogers HornsbyComment

Great piece on Fangraphs about Justin Turner and his transformation starting in 2013. I can't believe I haven't heard more of this guy's stats. His OPS last year was nearly .900!

Big win for the Cubbies. Wada looked really good, but didn't get much leeway. The bullpen was taxed yet again.. Maddon has to let the starters go a bit longer at some point.Comment

I generally don't like Harper's actions so I was ready to blast him before I watched what happened. After seeing the exchange, that's a load **** from the ump.
The ump show has to stop.
Oh yea, and make the check swing appeal required while we're at it.Oakland Athletics San Jose Sharks
