    6/1 - 6/14 Game Discussion Thread

So we are now 2 months through the season maybe some big trades come down the pipe soon. IE Hamels.

Also Twins/Red Sox game cancelled. Make up on Wednesday @ 1:35 Eduardo Rodriguez is supposedly the starter for that game.

Really want to see this kid take BP. Would love to see how far he can mash the ball.

They showed clips of him hitting HRs in some contest and he apparently destroyed a windshield of a truck in the OF.

After reading those comments, why couldn't they have called this kid up over the weekend? I would actually watch a game just to see this kid hit. Like I did last week with Eduardo Rodriguez. And I'm going to watch Rodriguez' second start this Wednesday.

Kershaw with a 3-hit game; Joc Pederson goes deep again.

                First time in MLB history....

A pitcher has double digit K's(12).....0 BB's.....gives up double digit hits(11)....and doesn't make it to 5 innings. He gave up 6 runs.

Looks like deGROM is starting to put it all together. Thor is a beast too. If only the offense was more consistent.

This is like 1984...Just missing the last few pieces.
Where are the Mets going to find a Gary Carter though?....and where to play that guy?

I'm hoping D'arnaud can grow into that type of role. It would be nice to get wright back as well, but Spinal injuries are nothing to play with. On the bright side Flores and Lagares are good pieces that will only get better. I love watching Lagares play defense. He makes the improbable look routine.

Troy Tulowitzki has a 2.9% walk rate this rate, which is the 8th lowest among qualified hitters in baseball. His plate discipline numbers have also taken a nosedive and he's striking out in 22% of his PAs.

I don't know how a patient hitter turned into Delmon Young over the course of a season, but it happened.

                          Fact of the day.

                          Bryce Harper - Nationals

                          Kris Bryant - Cubs

                          Joey Gallo - Rangers

                          Chris Carter - Astros

All are power hitters from Las Vegas.

Didn't Harper and Bryant play on the same travel team too?

Good lord, Joc Pederson just murdered another baseball.

The guy is so much fun to watch.
