Any MILB Fans out there? (Milb Thread)
Just wondering if anyone on here follows the milb and if so how big of a fan are you?... I've been following the Pawsox and the milb since I was about 7 years old and went to my first pawsox game. I am a subscriber of milb TV and follow the league on my computer or iPad devices. I have season tickets to the pawsox for about 10 years now... Before I had season tickets i went to as many games as I could and that was a lot. I always loved the minor leagues (even with hockey... I'm also a providence bruins season ticket holder)... If anyone loves the milb like I do discuss whatever you like about it (no matter what its about)Tags: None -

I just follow the minors to see how my teams top prospects are doing. I assume you're a Red Sox fan as well? But yeah I could care less about my teams afiliates wins and losses but rather pay closer attention to the stats.Green Bay PackersSeattle MarinersNew York Rangers

I live in RI I'm about 15 minutes away from McCoy stadium where the PawSox play so I've been following them since I was a kid . ive been to Fenway a bunch of times too. I've seen a lot of bosox players rehab with Pawtucket as well... I follow the milb like I follow the mlb or any sport for that matter lol.Last edited by Sportsworth; 06-10-2015, 05:03 AM.Comment

Since I went to a game in 2012, I've been a fan of the State College Spikes. It only got better when they left the Pirates and rejoined the Cardinals organization.Comment

im an milb fan. being from jackson ms, we have the M-Braves the AA affiliate of the Atlanta Braves. got the chance to see alot of current braves players go through the farm system. since we had the team in 06? the area around trustmark park (which is also called the teepee) has been redeveloped into a nice shopping area. also something that was cool is that my cousin she works for the a department for the city of jackson and she would get free tickets to the game and would take me my brother and my cousin to games during the season

The closest team to me is the Midland Rockhounds. Never been to any games, as I'm not big into the A's.
But as far as Texas goes, we've got the Corpus Christi, El Paso, Frisco, Midland, Round Rock, and San Antonio.
I have been to a RoughRiders game before, but I honestly couldn't say when it was. It was at least 10 years ago.Boston Red Sox

That's real cool... How many fans do they get? Is it a large crowd at the games that show up to support the team? My father was at the pawsox longest baseball game ever... He didn't stay through the whole game but he did stay until about the 18th inning before he left.Comment

Re: Any MILB Fans out there? (Milb Thread)
they draw pretty well considering Cashman Field is in one of the worst parts of town and is a total dump. They've been trying to build a new facility in the Summerlin area (very rich area), but the city council out here doesn't take care of their own and will only build for professional teams............................................. which isn't going to happen anytime soon. It's sad the 51's/Stars have been here for over 30 years and this city can't even take care of them.Last edited by Sportsworth; 06-11-2015, 10:03 PM.Comment

Love the B'ham Barons. I'm probably in the minority in that I'd rather they not moved back to B'ham, though.T-BONE.

I live about 15 minutes away from the Trenton Thunder (Yankees AA). I enjoy going there when the Reading Phillies are in town. They are actually there for a 3 game series starting tomorrow. Thinking about taking my son there for a game. Phillies best prospects are in AA. Fun to watch the young guys.Comment

At the Reading Fightin' Phils/Trenton Thunder game in Trenton, NJ with my son. 10 rows behind home plate. Muggy as hell out here since a little shower passed.Comment
