Re: 2015 MLB Draft Thread
I'm really interested to see what happens. Every article I read keeps saying that this is a relatively weak draft and no one is really sure how the picks will fall.
I'm especially curious to see who the Cubs get. -

All I'm hoping for is the Red Sox getting Alex Bregman.Boston Red Sox

Re: 2015 MLB Draft Thread
MLB draft I find is least entertaining of the big 4 sports. NHLs is the best, NBAs is second best(even despite the fact that trades can't be official, which is real stupid, cause it leads to guys putting on draft hat of team they aren't even part of), NFL third and MLB last.
Jays 1st round pick today will be made by their 1st round pick in 1997:

Re: 2015 MLB Draft Thread
I'm hoping that Kyle Funkhouser falls to the Cardinals.
Astros setting pretty with 2 of the first 5 picks
Glad there are others who follow the MLB draft like I do.Last edited by countryboy; 06-08-2015, 05:56 PM.I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

Re: 2015 MLB Draft Thread
This year has been weird I usually know a lot of draft talents but this year I literally knew zero of them...odd.

Re: 2015 MLB Draft Thread
Phillies draft shortstop Cornelius Randolph with the 10th selection. Unless they plan on moving him to second base this pick makes no sense. J.P. Crawford is our #1 prospect and shortstop of the future. He was just moved up to AA 2 weeks ago too. Could be up as soon as late 2016-2017.
What we needed is a catcher, but no surprise Ruben Amaro doesn't draft what we need. Ugh.Comment

Re: 2015 MLB Draft Thread
Not gonna happen. Maikel Franco is with the big club now and isn't going anywhere. Will man the hot corner for years to come. He is our #3 prospect and is only 22. Playing very well on both ends of the ball too. Just a mind boggling pick in my opinion. Shortstop is the last position we need to draft from.Comment

Re: 2015 MLB Draft Thread
He was one of the bright spots for Arkansas this past year. Hit .390 with 18 homers. Also had 22 stolen bases.

Defensively, the 6-foot-1, 190-pounder is a shortstop in name only -- he is expected to move to third base as a pro because he lacks the first step and range for short.Boston Red Sox
