    6/29 - 7/12 Game Discussion Thread

Braves are in one of their "***" phases at the moment. Tough time to go into one of those.

Cubs just finished a 20 games in 20 days stretch with a 5 game losing streak and sweep by the Cardinals.

Off day then a 3 game set against the Mets. Hopefully they can get back on track.

Twins still hanging in there at 5 games above .500. At almost half way through the season, I consider this a miracle.

And now Ervin Santana will make his debut this weekend.

Blue Jays don't get a day off until the All Star Break. They're in the midst of a homestand and the BoSox are coming to town. Boston is showing some signs of life so I hope the Jays can stamp that out of them and bury em in the basement. The Jays may be 4th in the division but they're only a game out.

So McLendon says that he's going to let Rodney regain his form. Here's a news flash you idiot, he will never regain his form because he sucks, hes the worst reliever in baseball, period. Why the hell would you let this pile of trash pitch at all let alone in the 9th? Especially since Carson Smith is so much better than him and is 5 for 5 in saves this season only giving up 1 run in those saves, which was a solo HR. I have a hard rime imagining that any manager could be this dumb. Which leads me to believe Jack Z is behind it. He is so damn egotistical that he doesn't want one of his signings to look like a terrible signing by his 2nd year.

Still want Farrell and Cherrington fired...give me Ozzie. Also I found this hilarious yesterday, last out of the game is a routine fly ball hit to RF. And JBJ lines up as he is ready to gun the ball home to get the guy tagging. Guys still checked out even in a victory.

Good to see the Astros leading the AL All-Star Team, 6-0 in the 6th.

Trout putting on a show tonight...two amazing catches and a homer. We should all make every effort to watch him when we can...guy is special.

Rays reliever threw a wild pitch on an intentional walk attempt and allowed a run to score from 3rd. This is why we will never have the four finger no pitch walk.

Can't believe this guy. Absolutely insane. Calhoun had a wild catch too.

Nolan Arenado is quietly putting up a huge year.

                      Looking like Adrian Beltre 2.0.

Yet the Yanks only took 1 of 3 from them. Well mainly Franco and his 10 RBI.

A's scratch Gray from tonight's start. No word why yet. Hopefully it's just "flu like symptoms" or something. This for sure is gonna hurt his bid to start the AS game.
