At least Ortiz actually played for the Twins. You guys don't play fair...I'm telling.

ESPN is saying "indefinitely" and that he'll be re-evaluated in a week. Looking like TOR got the counterpoint to the Teixeira injury.

Wilmer Flores has hit 16 homeruns in 127 games w/the Mets. Meanwhile Cespedes has hit 16 homeruns in 39 games w/the Mets.

The big difference is that Wilmer cried because he didn't want to leave and Yoenis cried when he heard the trade was with the Mets.

I never want to see Brett Gardner ever again.

Hopefully Delabar can close the door the rest of the way.

Whew...Well that was a looong day.

First sweep of a doubleheader against the Yanks since 1983 and the first one ever in NYC.

24th time the Jays have scored 10 or more runs this season. Crazy.

The Braves have scored 10 runs...THREE times, twice in the first week and the last time on May 21.

Walk-off home run Cody Asche! Phillies win! 2nd career walk-off home run and hit one year to the day of his first walk-off homer! Wow!

Really sucks that Tulo is gonna be out for awhile. At least a week. Jays can do without him for remainder of regular season, but playoffs they'll need him in it! Though on plus side, Tulo hasn't exactly been a big reason why Jays have been so good the past month+, which is surprising when you think about it, that they've been so good, and he hasn't even been the Colorado Tulo most people know him for in terms of offensive production.

And EE left game 2 of the doubleheader, possible tightness or something, or maybe just fatigue from having like 8-9 at bats or so in a single day for a guy basically swinging for the fences every at bat.

But good news...4.5 game lead! Would've been fine just splitting this series, but I'll take 3-4 games anyday!

Crazy/fun day of baseball. Game 1 started at 1pm. Game 2 ended around 10:20pm. Entire day of baseball, where your team wins both games, it's fun!

Yankees fans left and never came back after game 1(doesn't say much, game 1 was so empty too, even Friday was half empty). Game 2...they made Tampa Bay Rays games look crowded, not even joking. Each section in the stadium had maybe 20 or so people in it at best. Game was so quiet, you literally could hear individual chants in the stadium.

Serious thing that was brought up during the game. Have Yankees gotten to the point, where fans are more just like "wake me up when playoff baseball starts" cause they're so use to seeing Yankees doing good? So regular season doesn't mean much to people anymore. A game earlier this week was the least attended game in Yankees stadium(new one) history. Apparently, announced attendance was over 46,000 for this game...looks more like 4,600.

lol,Yankees fans chanting "GO BACK TO CANADA",when the Yankees were down 10-4.
