Why do all these so called 'experts' and columnist never talk about the Giants. Their #1 in the WildCard race and have narrowed the gap between them and the Dodgers to 3 games...AND they lead the league in Runs scored with 5 players with 70 or more RBIs...give them some respect please

I don't know why any Giants fan would complain about this right now. They've gained 5.5 games on L.A. in 5 days and still have 6 head-to-head with the Dodgers. All the attention is on Bonds' 700th and that has allowed the rest of the team to quietly hit and pitch their way back into the NL West race. They still have 6 against the Padres as well and S.D. has owned them this year. Looks like it should be a good race down to the wire.Comment

Well for what its worth, Im a Chicago fan and I agree. SF has shown a lot of resiliency to hang in there like this. The Cubs have all that so called talent and are still .5 back. The Giants have executed and got the job done. And everything everyone has said about the Barry watch is true. Even when you watch a SF game, it feels like, instead of watching a game, you are watching Barry bat 4 times and the winner/loser is less consequential.Comment

thats why i have to complain about it. The media is so screwed up... The GIANTS leads the league in RUNS SCORED...not the Cardinals...the GIANTS. Hopefully Bonds will knock one out tonight and the spotlight will be off one guy and on the whole team.Comment
