                            Amazing how it looked that these teams were going in opposite directions 2 days ago and now it's back to status quo. Yankees are the better team, get over it, keep fighting for that Wild Card Boston and hope the A's or Twins take out the Yanks in the playoffs. Of course knowing this season, Boston will probably take 2 of 3 next weekend at Boston.....

                                Amazing how it looked that these teams were going in opposite directions 2 days ago and now it's back to status quo. Yankees are the better team, get over it, keep fighting for that Wild Card Boston and hope the A's or Twins take out the Yanks in the playoffs. Of course knowing this season, Boston will probably take 2 of 3 next weekend at Boston.....

                                    Bad series for the Sox after that first win. Lowe had nothing on Saturday and Pedro didn't have his best stuff either on Sunday. Lowe losing is nothing new, but this is Pedro's second loss this month and going into it he only had 1 career September loss. Hopefully the pounding the Yankees gave him light a fire under him and he mowes them down in Fenway. The Red Sox only need one win to win the season series which may be the best they can hope for because winning the division will be hard. If they meet in the playoffs though I still think the Sox will beat the Yankees in a 7 game series.
