I put that in a different category. That wasn't a trade, Ruth was sold to the Yankees for money to help finance a broadway play.

Luckily for you yinzers, Penguins season conveniently starts tomorrow.

Disappointing ending for a 98 win team but what a historical season for a single division.

And there are a lot of great Cubs fans here, congrats to you guys, has to be a great feeling.
        Penguins? Lets go Pitt!

Still, it was a solid season for the Pirates, 98 wins, some great games. I like that the attitude is not getting excited just to get into the WC game or playoffs, but to get to the World Series and win more. Card vs Cubs though? Go Mets .

So I take it you worked on WCW Mayhem?

Nope, but Triple Play worked on the same floor as Mayhem. One of the EA PR people knew I was an old-school WWF fan and called me over to meet The Brain when he visited the Burnaby studio.

Earlier that same day, I walked around a corner and nearly collided straight into Mean Gene Okerlund. He said, "Hello there, young man! Could you tell me where the restroom is?"

Please tell me you responded to Okerlund with, "WELL YOU KNOW SOMETHING MEAN GENE! THE BATHROOM IS DOWN THE HALL AND FIRST DOOR ON THE RIGHT, BROTHER!!"

If you would have told me that the Cubs would have won this game because of defense and the bats of Dexter Fowler and Kyle Schwarber, I would have laughed at you.

But my my, how times have changed on the North Side. Bryant was brilliant once he moved to 3rd. Maddon pulled all the right strings last night.

Congrats to the Pirates fans on a great season.

The play he made on Polancos liner finished the Pirates. Two runners on at the meat of the order could have been a turning point.

Those two double plays were huge too. With two really under appreciated turns by Castro at 2B.

All around, great stuff to watch. The kids grew up quickly.
