Wouldn't mind Jabari Blash from the Mariners either.

Drafting an outfielder in the Rule 5 would definitely have to make Cody Asche expendable in a trade.

        Angels sign Craig Gentry.

I like him, he showed better command last season. We need a lefty in the pen, no doubt about it. He is arbitration eligible for the first time this season. Yanks gave up Francisco Cervelli for him, who then put up a great all around season for Pittsburgh. I wonder what the asking price is for Wilson.

Well....I guess Flores getting hurt actually helped the Mets!

I love the Walker for Niese deal.
I do think that Niese might do better as a reliever, but he wasn't going to go for that....so.....

Now bring back Murph and put him at 3B and I'd be happy.

Centered around Vincent Velasquez plus at least 2 other prospects. Hearing Brett Oberholtzer could be thrown in as well.

I like him. Doubt he comes to Boston, but we still need that lefty reliever...

I say Giles gets dealt to Houston by the end of the night. Phillies are gonna win this deal, because Houston will overpay like everyone else...

Justin Wilson to the Tigers for prospects. I guess Cashman feels like relievers are at a premium around the league and we might as well get what we can for him while that's the case. Treat him well Detroit, he's a good one.

Vincent Velazquez and Oberholtzer, hmm. I'd want a hitting prospect in there but Nola/VV/Eickhoff/Hellickson/Fister? is not bad.

Justin Wilson is indeed headed to Detroit.

Shawn Kelley is heading to Washington

Chase Utley officially re-signs 1 year, $7m, No NTC.

And with the Giles trade very, very close, this evening looks like it might get good...
