Oh for sure, don't get me wrong, he's NEVER been that kind of player, but as a role player that plays maybe half his games but he's better than any option we have at the moment, unless we're planning on playing Zunino full time again. I just like his on base skills, ability to make contact, etc. I'll take a 300 AB, .260/.340/.410 season over anything the other Mariners catchers will give them lol.

Report: The Brewers are making every player availible including Jonathan Lucroy.
Report: Nationals expected to name either Dusty Baker or Bud Black as manager.Last edited by ShowTyme15; 10-25-2015, 08:39 PM.Comment

I know Sabermetric folks don't like him but I think Dusty would be a good fit.Originally posted by Gibson88Anyone who asked for an ETA is not being Master of their Domain.
It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.Comment

really wanted Black as the M's manager. He grew up in Longview WA, which is where I live. Well. I live in Kelso, but it's technically one town lol.Comment

Re: 2015 MLB Hot Stove thread
K-Rod I know was a guy Jays had interest in during the deadline. Don't really need closer with Osuna here, but if Jays are considering putting Sanchez in rotation,an Osuna-KRod 8-9 inning combo would be nice.
Will Smith the other name I'd hope they look at too since they need another lefty in the bullpen.Comment

Re: 2015 MLB Hot Stove thread
Ya, given what teams not only made playoffs, but more specifically, the ones who made LCS, it's not the ones people are use to. The "big name" teams not in that picture, so you know those are the ones who are now in the position to have to play catchup, which could mean a crazy (and high priced) offseasonComment

2. I'd lean more towards Dusty but at the same time i'm afraid of what he'd do to poor Stephen Strasburg.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Looks like Ron Gardenhire may land the Padres gig.
Bud Black is the frontrunner for the Nationals job.Last edited by ShowTyme15; 10-26-2015, 09:16 AM.Comment
