It's not a good sign when you can't win in the second half. Oaktown will make it to the post, but not past.

I think Mulder is fatigued, his arm is tired. I've been noticing this since late July. I was hoping the A's would rest him but now its too late.Stoud I think most A's fans realize this team will get eliminated again in the first round of the playoffs if they even make it.

Zito has pitched better, but he's been inconsitent. The A's starting pitching has become a weakness these last two months and when their SP becomes weak they are mediocre.Thank God for Harden he has kept the staff together and even Hudson hasn't really been his normal self.Add a erratic Offense to their problems I'm still amzed their in 1st place.

The bullpen has been inconsistent, IMO. A w/out a solid closer w/ confidence, we won't go too far in the playoffs. Or it'll take a lot of luck.
