Why is Joe Buck not w/ McCarver?

OK, the last time couple of times I watched Fox Sat baseball its been McCArver and someone besides Joe Buck in the booth. Earlier in the season I was watching a a game with Buck and McCarver where Buck tersely said something to the effect of, "enough already!"...or maybe it was "we dont need to beat that to death anymore." To which McCarver awkwardly responded. Anyone watching would sense there was some tension. Does anyone know more about this...specifically why Buck isnt doing games with McCarver anymore?

Probably because it's football season, and Buck is FOX's NFL play-by-play guy, too.

IIRC that didn't stop them from working together last year. Buck probably has gotten annoyed with the rantings and ravings of McCarver. If we don't see them together this fall then you'll know something is up.

More than likely they will bring Joe Buck back for the Playoffs like they did last year.

Buck is doing the A-Game for Fox football now that the season has started. Once the playoffs roll around he'll be doing them too.

At least for the time being, one half of the most annoying duo in sports is absent. I can't stand Joe Buck and Tim McCarver.

I agree and maybe Im looking a gifthorse in the mouth but it seems anticlimatic to break up the team because of squabbling or any other reason besides the fact that they suck. A scenario where the president of Fox Sports confirmed that they are less than stellar in any euphemistic way that pleases him would be the best possible outcome in this regard.
