Re: Bonds randomly tested for roids
Bud Selig would have to think long and hard about releasing the results one way or another, think about it: if the results come up positive and it turns out to be a second offense would Selig make it public and have to suspend Bonds as he is closing in on Hank Aaron?, i doubt it. Baseball needs Bonds to break Aarons Home Run record, the closer he gets, the more national attention it will give Baseball, and they need him to do it without having the record tainted by steroids. so i think the results will come up "negative" no matter what.Comment

The problem with this is that Steriods are cycled. During an off cycle, there's not a trace of them. My guess is that if he was ever on Steroids (or HGH which is probably more likely) he's off them now. I'd think in a long season like baseball, the wear and tear of roids on a person's ligaments would be problematic later in the season. A good test would be in the offseason IMO.
I also don't know if this test, tests HGH. I think it's more likely Barry is on that than steroids.Comment

Re: Bonds randomly tested for roids
I don't think it clears his name but it does suggest the chance that people may be incorrect about him. A positive test should automatically be announced unlike the MLB policy. I think everyone should know if someone is cheating. Also, the policy should be stricter than it is.FAN OF: Georgetown Hoyas, DC United, Cincinnati Bengals, St. Louis Cardinals, West Ham United, Arkansas State Indians, and Memphis GrizzliesComment
