Yes, Cincy is bad, but it's got nothing on those two.

While there are other major sports cities that have not seen title success in several years, the owners in SD and Cleveland seem to be trolling their bases.
The Reds have two titles in the last 25 years? Not so...they last won in 1990 and before that they hadn't won since the 75-76 Big Red Machine years. They have 3 titles in the last 41 years, but they don't have a single title in the last 25 years.

So much wrong in this. Cincinnati is nowhere near the same realm as Cleveland and others.

A lot of these guys (and others) are being re-signed to MiLB deals. All of those Cubs players were brought back on MiLB contracts. Same for Don Kelly and Miami.

Drew Stubbs to Atlanta's minor league camp.

In the move of the season, Miami releases Tommy Medica. Now the Giants can pick him up and he can lead them to even-year glory...

Travis Shaw beat out Pablo for the Sox starting 3B job. There's another 17 million dollars on the bench to sit next to Castillo's 12 million.

You're right, I rounded...26 just doesn't have the same ring to it...

I thought they had won again, though...sorry. I was thinking of Larkin's MVP.

Ben Cherington was a not good GM.

Now we wait to see who between Shaw and Farrell loses their job first. As for Castillo, should have sent dude down to Pawtucket so he could play everyday. Also, let's add Rick Porcello to the list of bench warming cash cows. Making $20.75 million is year to be your #4 starter.

This is true, but Red Sox ownership are as much to blame for the number of poor free agent signings.

Ortiz's last ST game and ST homer were against the team that he made his Major League debut with 20 years ago.

It's interesting to think of how different the two teams would be today if Minnesota had given him a chance.

Yeah, benching the dude for a semi-****ty nobody who had a decent second half last year and a "good" ST is not a good way to facilitate a trade.
