          Random Predictions:
          1. The Braves, not the Phillies, will finish last in the NL East (and in baseball)
          2. The Cubs will not trade Javier Baez or Jorge Soler for pitching at the deadline
          3. Stephen Strasburg finally has an ace-type year, and signs a megadeal with the Yankees in the offseason
          4. Travis Shaw has a breakout year after replacing Pablo Sandoval
          5. Justin Verlander pitches more like his 2010-12 self
          6. The Cubs finish the regular season with the best record

My bold prediction. Travis Shaw doesn't make it out of April. And is the next Will Middlebrooks.

Also the Sox falter out of the gate, starting 1-5 and John Farrell ties the 02 Tigers manager as quickest manager to get fired in a season after 6 games.

I was half right. Shaw turned out to be crap in the end but he lasted longer than I thought.
