Just remember the D'Backs only had Schilling and Johnson with a crappy closer and they beat the Yanks in '01. This Red Sox team has a lot more of a supporting staff surrounding Schill and Pedro and they've got the bats which the D'backs didn't have in '01.

I think the BoSox will win because of the attitude they bring to the game and the fact that they have their rotation set up perfectly for the ALCS.

It should be a good series tho and could go 7 games. Anyhoo I hope to hear from you if/when the Yanks lose to Boston. I will hope that you have the class to give props to the winners.

first of all randy johnson and schilling is way better then pedro and shcilling. and the fact that we never owned randy jphnson like we own pedro fits our bill. and the yankee team that lost to the d-backs in 01 did not have good bats in the line up. we have sheff and a-rod right now, and jeter and matsui who we did not have back then. this yankee team is way better offensively then the one we had in 01. and the pitching this season is not great but its not a bad pitching staff and mussina and brown have been pitching well. and we got el duque.

if boston wins then i will be the first here to start a thread congratualing them. i am not a sore loser. but dont flame me for being confident on my team. peple hate the yankees for no reason. i mean its hard to hate them. they have classy players and a classy franchise. when the yankees win a series they dont go crazy like boston does. that shows that we are all business and not celebrating early. when the mets beat the redsox in 86 they had celebrations going on before the game was over. i mean i hate boston redsox and they do more talking then yankee fans but at least our talking comes with rings attached to them. boston has nothing,
