Mussina looks incredible tonight. Looks like he has all pitches working. And again, calm down, it is only one game. I doubt this will be indicative of the entire series.

This just in, the Red Sox are reported to have forfeited the series because the Yankees are just too good.

Down 6-0... no baserunners for 5 innings..

I figured you could tell how the series might end up in Game 3 or 4.. but in Game 1? Yes.. it's one game, but nobody told the Red Sox to show up and play. This is the type of defeat I think that could kill a mentally fragile team like the Red Sox. Maybe the Cardinals or the Astros could bounce back if they come across a similar situation in their championship series.

I don't care what anybody says this is major. The Red-Sux had more to lose in this game then the Yankees did. Schilling was to suppose to be the missing piece the Red-Sux needed to get pass the Yankees. Everything was riding on his shoulders. Him getting pimp-slapped by the Yankees wasn't supposed to happen. The whole pysce of the Red-Sux & their nation has been destroyed. Don't be surprised If they get swept....

Man you thought tonight the stadium was jumpin tonight, wait til tomorrow.

BigF'nJoe will be there to remind Pedro who's his daddy..

The Yankees starting rotation is still in shambles. They desperately needed this outing from Mussina. Lieber will get torched by the Sox hitting IMO. Who knows how Brown's back is going to hold up and if El Duque is even going to be able to throw at all.

Just one game, just one pitcher.

normally when a team doesn't hit well one night, they come out firing the next few days, so this may not be that good of a sign. Besides Curt's injury may have something to do with this.
Just wait till Arsenal moves into Emirates Stadium.

Yes, but these are the Sox we're talking about.

They sure as heck quit with two outs, 1 strike away in Game 6 in '86.

This team just won't be able to bounce back... no wonder I don't like the Red Sox :P
