Originally posted by keRplunKGreat series. I still put the 1995 Mariners 0-2 comeback over this though, becasue of the drama of that series, and the way the game 5 ended.
But this is just amazing, 0-3 comeback. Too bad they didn't leave Pedro in to get a fight started or something, that would've put it over the top.
Yeah, you're no homer.Comment

3 games to none comeback! It's never been done before. Getting humiliated 19-8 in game 3 in front of your home crowd. Winning games 4 and 5 in extra innings. Winning 6 and 7 on the road, in New York, against your biggest rival.....nothing beats that.
The Sox could have gave up after that 11 run loss in game 3,and nobody would have cared. The series was over, remember? That speaks volumes about the character of this team.Comment

The World Series is going to be an afterthought after this series. I kinda feel bad for whoever wins the NLCS. They're not going to get much notice after what the Sox are about to pull off.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club
