Thing is he can actually be insightful and he doesn't talk down to the viewer. But his stupidity on Twitter has definitely taken a toll and deservedly so.

Nice for the Pirates to get a win on Opening Day. Frankie looked solid and got out of some decent jams. Melancon was shaky, but it's a win.

Yeah, that's so silly. ST games should be done once the regular season starts.

I don't think it's fair to tell teams they have to stop playing just because the season has started and they weren't lucky enough to get scheduled on opening day. Once the season starts it's pretty much every day and most teams like to stay in that flow.

Even the Pirates played a majority of their starters from today's game in a game against Cincy yesterday.

I'm just basing it off of what I've read because the Pirates game was blacked out on ESPN for me but it seems it wasn't on for that game but it is on for this one.

Hopefully it's just for the half dozen games show on ESPN2 this year.
