Tough 24 hours for the Cubs. First losing Schwarber for the year, then choking away a winnable game in Arizona.

Soler's throw was miserable on that attempt to nail Owings at home. Yuck.

Gotta manage to win instead of pushing your rookie pitcher [with a history of arm problems] to the breaking point to achieve something nice and shiny for him.

Then again, I've never been easily impressed by no-hitters (AJ Burnett, anyone?), so opinions may differ.

AJ Burnett was a good pitcher though. You have a better argument with guys Dallas Braden, and Phil Humber.

I think he's talking about Burnett's actual no hitter with the Marlins. I believe he walked 9 or something like that.
