Maeda had a nice start in the Dodgers' home opener and the Dodgers bullpen has (so far) given up 2 solo homers including one to Goldschmidt and are now down 2-1.

SMH @ their bullpen. Garbage.

Tuned in to the Dodgers game on MLBN earlier and I heard Vin Scully talk about how Socrates drank hemlock to kill himself. Never know what you're gonna get with Vin lol. Better suited to radio obviously.

Tanaka continues to have the Jays number. Issuing walks, but getting out of jams. Aaron Sanchez looks really good again.

The AL East is looking crazy tough.

It's also weird to have Dan Shulman doing pbp for a local telecast again. Last time he did that I was a kid.

The Blue Jays bats better wake up. I know they're predicated on being patient at the plate but now they're being TOO patient. It just sets them up to be taken down by "pitchers' pitches".

They had Tanaka on the ropes a couple times and came up short. It's so frustrating. I'm hoping that a week from now I won't have to complain about this but the way the schedule is set up this could be a case of a team losing the pennant in April.
