Vasquez is here to save the day, if he can hit that's just a huge bonus. Maybe we can package Swihart for a solid #2. Somehow sweet talk the Padres into a Shields for Pablo deal (less likely with the "injury" now) maybe Rusney 😅...yeah I'm getting a little delusional.

I just would enjoy some decent arms behind Price.

Boston fans crack me up...just a year ago they were laughing at Ruben Amaro for asking for Swihart in a Cole Hamels deal. Now they can't get him out of town fast enough.

I even added an emoji and called myself delusional...what else can I do on the Internet *shrug* the Sandoval part was serious in a kidding way as well.

And I haven't heard much of any of that talk, so must be select Red Sox fans.

My apologies...I saw the emoji and thought that was the "I'm hopeful" emoji (it showed up as lines on my screen). The Swihart thing cracks me up though because I was saying last year that Boston has to make that trade for a guy like Hamels and a few of my friends told me Swihart was THE next coming. Now they tell me he's been ruined by being rushed, confidence is shattered, won't hit, etc and they should get what they can.

All good. Internet is difficult to see people's personalities.

However, I will disagree with those people you have talked to. Swihart will have to go through growing pains, but should hit. His defense will never be amazing, and that's why we have Vasquez. Now could we deal one? Of course.
