4/3 - 4/17 Game Discussion Thread
From what I could see on the broadcast, the athletic trainers started with testing the ligaments and moved on to what looked like a femur or tib/fib fracture test. I'm an undergrad AT student, so seeing them move quickly to get to the bone testing on the field and the subsequent X-Rays coming back clean is a very big deal.
But yes, there's no ruling out ligament damage. Best case scenario it's a bad ankle sprain and he's out 2-3 weeks. It was gnarly looking..
Here's a pic (blurry, but you can see that your lower leg isn't supposed to move like that).

Cubs and Snakes playing some AL baseball in the National League tonight. Cubbies gunning for a 3-0 start and an early 3 game lead over the Redbirds (this is how life's supposed to be). Cubs also looking for 12th win in-a-row on the road going back to last regular season.Chicago Cubs | Chicago Bulls | Green Bay Packers | Michigan WolverinesComment

Pujols walk off hit to give Angels first win of the year.
That Cubs lineup is ridiculous, not to mention their depth and lineup flexibility. That's going to be a fun team to watch.Comment

Reds sent Robert Stephenson back to Louisville.
Cardinals traded Jason Aquino to the Baltimore Orioles.I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.
I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Yankees stadium will turn a lot of his doubles into HR, too.
I also think he would have been just fine with the Cubs this year, and that they would have been fine with him. I had soured on him quite a bit, but feel like the improvement after his move to 2b was not a fluke...I wouldn't be surprised to see him put up career numbers.
Getting Zobrist wasn't a bad idea. But it's splitting hairs...up to a point, at least. Between the ears...who knows?Australian Rules Football...just sayin'Comment
