I really don't know why Fredi didn't challenge the slide at 2nd...we could have been out of that inning. Instead, we just suck.

I know we will...but man, it certainly doesn't feel like this team will EVER win another game. Since the ASB last year we are 25-61...and heading for 25-62. That 'aint 1899 Cleveland Spiders/1962 Mets bad, but it's awful.

...and he's 23. Most rookies are 23...and he's already 100 homers into the books. Guy has a legit shot at Bonds.

Definitely, especially if he's finally thrown off the injury bug.

He's also basically figured out how to stop striking out. The guy has become the perfect offensive player.

SF clawing back slowly but only have 1 more inning. Cain gave up a 9 run inning, and the Giants have come back from 9-1 to make it 9-6.

Yet...2017 is to be the promise year.

Anyways, I hope Buxton turns it around for the Twins; they desperately need him to produce. 4 hits in 25 ABs will not get it done. I do recall Kelly Johnson going like 2-27 when he got called up but Bobby stuck with him and he's had a good career. I'm curious how Molitor will handle it.

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

Buxton just...doesn't get it. He needs more time in the minors to figure out a new approach.

Dude has struck out on 52% of his plate appearances.

Through the first 10 games the Phillies starting rotation looks like this:

                          63 IP, 15 ER, 12 BB, 75 K's, 2.14 ERA, 0.81 WHIP

                          Very nice.

Disclaimer: It's only the third inning, so plenty of time to blow it.
I know I am late to respond to this, but getting a lead isn't the problem with the Braves. They've led over half of their games in the final 3 innings. This all-star bullpen and its management has been the issue.
