Nomar is always fun to watch - if nothing else, entertaining because of his 'routines'

I think as far as hitting goes I would pay to watch Sheff hit, but I dont think I anyone will compare to the awe that Griffey put into everyones eyes when he stepped up to the plate with that graceful swing he had.

I was also going to put Griffey on my list, but with everything he's been through, it just doesn't feel like the same guy walking up to the plate anymore.

Sports Illustrated had an article about Sheffield last week. I couldn't believe the one picture I saw. It's a picture from behind him (shows the back of his head and numbers) and he's stepping into a pitch and about ready to swing.

The amazing thing to me was the angle his bat was at. His bat was almost pointed towards the mound. It's amazing to me that he's able to whip his bat around with such speed to get around on pitches.

He's another hitter I like watching. His bat speed is just flat out incredible.

I like to watch Vlad. The guy doesn't care where the ball is and about a third of his home runs come off hittng the ball on the bat with some weird angle or wrong trajectory.

Like when he hit that grand slam vs the rsox, it looked like he was trying to pull the ball and it came off his bat in the wrong direction for a homer.

Haha, I thought the same thing when he hit that ball..

It is fun to watch Vlad hit, 'cause every at bat he has, SOMETHING always happens..
