Im not a huge Michael Kay fan, but I dont even know what this means. Dude was born in the Bronx, he grew up following the Yankees, he went to school with half the NY sports media and has covered the Yankees for different outlets for almost 30 years. How is he not invested in his own team? Because he's not whining at every bad call and saying you gotta be bleeping me when routine plays go against the team? What does that even mean "mouthpiece of the ownership"? Every announcer is paid by their owners, Kay has a radio show in NY where he rips the Yankees and their decisions all the time. He told Mets fans to "choke on their own bile", he's as Yankee as it gets.

It always seems like Kay is trying to sell something when he's calling Yankees games. It just kinda grates on me.

Sorry I like Hawk more than Michael Kay though. He just seems more genuine and less saccharine which I prefer.

Hawk is a baffoon, plain and simple. His catch phrases are annoying and unprofessional, and the guy is just clueless to anything and anyone outside of the White Sox. The Nationals guys are terrible too, but they have nothing on Hawk.

And this has been a slugfest. 15 combined runs, and 25 combined in the top of the 5th.

F.P. Santangelo is just awful. Guy has a homer excuse for everything. I remember a game last year that Bryce Harper actually misplayed a ball and he was determined to tell everyone that Bryce's foot hit a divet in the grass. No. He just misplayed the ball. Guy can't bring himself to admit when a National makes a mistake.

The nationals guys are annoying, and I get the hate. But I get entertainment value out of them.

If Bryce looked their way, they'd get goosebumps. They crack me up. Because they are such damn homers. Hawk is just a dbag.
