The 2nd half grind begins tonight. Cardinals are hosting the Marlins. Jaime Garcia is on the mound. Hopefully we can get things started off on the right foot with a series victory, starting with a win tonight.

A's call up prospect 1B/3B Ryon Healy, their rep in the futures game, so of course everyone assumes a trade. Zero indication of that though.

The Jays start the post All Star grind in Oakland. It will be interesting to see if they can keep the momentum they built up recently or if they come out of the gate on a bit of a lull.

BTW Chris Colabello has gone to Triple A for rehab after his PED suspension and if the support of the Jays organization was real I expect him to be called up to the big club within a couple weeks.

We get the Astros, this is a crossroad serries for us, we lay an egg we will probably sell in 2 weeks, we sweep them, we may get false hope of actually being in it and add a pitcher or 2.
