I don't appreciate your condescending tone. For one, Zunino does have 30 HR power, for two Diaz is the best young RP in baseball, and he does remind me of Kimbrel, hell the Red Sox announcers even said it them selves. For three Walker is a very good young pitcher, having a solid season, and is only 23, will only get better, and he returns from the DL today. For four, I never mentioned Pineda. For five, I hated the Ackley pick in 09, I knew he would be a bum, I wanted us to draft Mike Trout, I had Trout 2nd behind Strasberg in my rankings that year.

That's pretty easy to say now that Mike Trout is the best player in baseball and Dustin Ackley is a platoon player at best

It's not all your fault...we had a M's fan on here a few years ago (he may still be here...I honestly can't remember who it was) who said Pineda was a lock to win 2-3 Cy Youngs and along with Felix, Ackley, and whoever else the M's would 3 WS in the next 5 years. Of course in a few months they traded Pineda and Ackley sucked...

There is nothing wrong with being a fan of your team...I applaud it! Just keep in mind that we often see our own teams with rose colored glasses...on this forum a little realism/humility goes a long way. We've just had a run of M's fans who (not all) who think that the entire M's team is Mike Trout/Clayton Kershaw.

Broke camp as a starter and had maybe two good starts before eventually being made into the designated long relief pitcher when he could do no more harm on the outcome of a game.

He throws hard but lacks control to an incredible degree.

And no, he's not Greek....

Mariners fans are hilarious and awesome. Godgers never change. I actually believe Zunino is good, and could be a steady hitter, it seems he figured something out in the minors, he burned up AAA, and it seems to be translating, albeit a small sample size.

Ackley though, sucks, you can have her back.

I'm just a big fan of white/grey pants. Whenever teams start matching the pants to the jersey colors it always looks like a onesie to me.

Gary is looking awesome though, his arm is something else so far.

Well after the M's stretch him out as a starter, Venditte will win a string of Cy Young awards. He'll make 33 starts as a righty and then 33 more as a lefty each year. Nobody will be able to compete with that. That extra roster spot Seattle doesn't need to fill with a pitcher will be the key in vaulting them to a dynasty as well.

If anyone has access to both feeds check out the A's feed of the Cubs game, not only are the teams wearing throwback uni's but the presentation is being done with 1981 presentation style as well (even the commentators are dressed for 1981).
