    Is this a joke?

Plenty of guys have started similar to his 0 for 7 with a walk and been just fine.

Hopefully the Rangers don't have more walk off magic tonight.

Clearly Chapman was holding the Yankees down. Yanks take the series.

          What a game between Jays-Padres.

Jays were up 3-1 at one point, then Padres with HR and made it 4-3. Then Jays thanks to Melvin Upton Jr pinch hitting, avoid a double play(due to his speed) and go on to tie the game. Padres eventually take a 6-4 lead in the top of the 12th, and after a crazy bottom of the 12th, Jays win 7-6.

Devon Travis had a 14 pitch at bat! Including a stretch of like 6-7 straight foul balls(1 of which was like 10 inches from a walk off home run). Hits, fielder choices, walks, all lead to Jays eventually winning thanks to a walk off wild pitch.

Side note, a funny moment in the 1st inning. Kemp hit a ball in the infield, throw was off line, and he beat the fielder down the line....but didn't touch the bag. So Smoak at 1B just casually walks over to the bag, steps on it and Kemp gets called out lol.

lol, this was the Jays first regular season win with Dan Iassogna behind the plate since early 2012. And even tonight..he wasn't helping them at all. Horrible strike zone, and a play which almost cost the Jays the game when a swing and a miss on a passed ball, he decided to just call it a foul tip(there was a runner on 3rd who did go home and that was at the time the game tying run,but Iassogna sent him back).

Not to mention that inside call on Donaldson, I believe it was, should have been ball four. His strike zone was very suspect, to say the least.

There were several pitches in the 12th I'd have called strikes that he called balls with Blue Jays at the plate. His strike zone is different, just like anyone other umpire's, and he had his share of missed calls in favor and against. He wasn't Carrapazza bad.

Cards and Mets split the double header. We remain one game back of the wildcard.

Im really intrigued by Alex Dickerson so far. I guess we're going to wait until sept to see Renfroe or Margot and see what Dickerson and Jankowski have. Alex has really displayed a nice bat so far with some great pop.

Dickerson looks like a guy who has potential but as Gregg Zaun noted last night. He doesn't do well with middle/high fastballs. The two HRs he hit came in sequences where they were pounding him with fastballs then went soft on him with a breaking ball middle down in the zone. I think teams will catch onto the fact that he hits the breaking pitches really well and throw more hard stuff at him.

Blue Jays are 27-17 with Devon Travis in the starting lineup, 30-27 otherwise.

To think, Jays have had just 2 games all year with Tulo,Bautista,Travis in lineup together.

2 games out of the first 101 with 100% of your starting lineup, and you are just 2 games back of 1st

Rosales goes yard for SD. 25 straight games now. 2 away from the record

I've really liked watching Perdomo develop. A rule 5 pick who hasn't pitched above A ball and started the season as a RP, who was forced into a starting role due to injury and survived getting rocked early has really turned into a pretty damn good pitcher for us.
