Good to see the Astros offense show up for 2 games yesterday. They'll probably disappear again against Toronto this weekend.

Before the game Matt Adams was placed on the 15 day DL and now Holliday will be out with a broken thumb.

Cubs ambushing Wainwright early. 3 doubles, with 2 being smoked into the ivy.

Not sure I want them to go too far ahead early. Someone will end up taking one in the ribs for Holliday yesterday.

Waino doesn't look sharp at all.

They must've heard you.. only 2 runs in the inning.

The Cardinals are done. Too beat up and too inconsistent this season. If we get into the playoffs, it will be because the Marlins, Mets, and Pirates let us in.

7-0. Waino's just being left out there to take one for the team.

Gotta ride him out. Our bullpen has been taxed so much the past few weeks.

Jason Heyward's season at the plate continues to befuddle me...I love the guy and he has so much potential; why can't he just break out and mash? At least he hasn't taken his offensive woes to the field...he's still an elite glove in RF, but that is the only place he's providing value this year.

Piscotty breaks up the shutout with a bomb to center, 7-1.

I wonder if he's pressing and feeling the pressure but really, he shouldn't I mean the Cubs have so many talented guys around him that he could just relax.

Maybe Heyward is just one of those guys who will never become what we all thought he was going to be.

Jerome Williams' ERA is taking a major league pounding right now.
