Baseball is always better when the Yankees are fun to hate...it's hard to hate them when they aren't very good.

True enough, I'm happy that the Yanks are trying a youth movement but as someone who hates em...I don't want them to be TOO successful

It's easier to make fun of them though. Look at Leafs and Lakers, spotlight on them 24/7, but are such easy targets for jokes cause of them not being good.

Heyward "lines" into a double play. Even his line drives are soft.

After this season, he needs to completely scrap everything about his swing and start over. There's nothing there worth saving. Joe Maddon also needs to consider using him as a defensive sub only down the stretch.

.226/.308/.316, 72 wRC+ makes his contract look like a terrible investment no matter how well he plays on defense. I was for signing him, but.....

Alex Reyes listed at 175 lbs. How many years ago was that accurate? I'd guess closer to 220.
